The plaque reproduces the sacred image kept in the Piratello sanctuary in Imola. The image is enhanced by three flying cherubs holding crowns. A range of colours is used, in large, even areas and with varying intensity. This version of the icon is distinguished by a crown-shaped decoration of brightly coloured bunches, typical of the Imola school. This plaque was produced right here by the Cooperativa Ceramica d'Imola, who still own the original moulds.
