Three cherubs hold the crowns in the air. The shining triangle at the top of the piece is a symbol of the Trinity and at the bottom two symmetrical branches of roses sprout from a shell. At the centre an undulating title block bears the inscription: B.V. del Piratello (Our Lady of Piratello) A wide range of pure colours is used, in large, even areas and with varying intensity to create lively contrasts that are softened by the white background. The most intense colours are reserved for the buds and decorations on the frame.
