This half length Virgin Mary clasps her hands together over her breast where seven symbolic swords converge. The polychromy for this plaque is particularly intense on account of its juxtaposition of yellow and blue. This contrast is heightened by ton sur ton spot and leaf patterns created using the tip of the paintbrush. The entire frame is decorated using the same technique.
